FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. I only need support for a certain component of my project. Can EMC help?

A.Yes, we can support and advise you at any stage of your project.

Q. Do you have references? How is the work guaranteed?

A. Yes, the work of our consultants is fully guaranteed to meet or exceed your expectations. If you are not satisfied we will work to correct the situation. Full references for previous work are available upon request.

Q. What is the turnaround time for projects?

A. The time to complete projects depends on the scope of the required work. Timelines are discussed with clients during the planning phase of every project, indicated on the project contract, and can be revised in consultation with the client.

Q. Who do I contact if I have concerns about a project?

A. The Project Manager assigned to your project should be the first point of contact. If issues are not resolved, please contact any of the company partners by email or telephone (see Contact Us for contact details).

Q. Does EMC provide financial support for projects?

A. No, we are not a funding agency and therefore do not fund research projects. However, we provide services that can help you to obtain funding (see Our Services for details).

Q. What is epidemiology?

A. Epidemiology is the study of disease distribution and of the determinants of health and disease in human populations. A principal aim of epidemiological studies is to determine how and why disease rates vary among populations and to identify the factors associated with increased risk of disease so that they may be targeted by appropriate interventions.
